Position: Finance Manager

Location: Toronto North End

Description:

Our client is a fast-growing media services company headquartered in North Toronto. They are seeking an exceptional person to work with the owners and management team in the critical role of Finance Manager.

The candidate will be expected to lead others, and to participate hands-on, in the company’s full-cycle of accounting and reporting. The candidate will be ultimately responsible for corporate filings, consolidated financial statements and their timely preparation on a monthly basis.

The candidate would provide their unique perspective with each financial report and contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the business. Overall, this candidate would be responsible for providing leadership, supervision and direction to 5 accounting team members.

Requirements:

The ideal requirements for the role are:

(1) minimum 3-4 years of experience in a management capacity with overall financial reporting responsibilities.
(2) minimum 5 years of full-cycle accounting and reporting experience

A CMA designation or equivalent, and knowledge of ACCPAC are preferred.

The compensation range is between $70K & $80K
