Sales Manager – Communications Solutions and Services

Our Client is an established and successful Canadian business communications systems integrator with over 25 years experience. The Client designs, installs, manages and maintains flexible and comprehensive communications infrastructures for corporate customers. Many of the 30 employees have been with the company for more than 20 years.

Business of the Company: The Company is engaged in delivering a range of solutions including IP telephony, unified messaging, enterprise multi-site networking, soft phones, SIP trunking, MPLS/VPN, and additional virtualized solutions. The company has long term business relationships with corporate and government clients.

The Role: Sales Manager

The Client is looking for an energetic, entrepreneurial individual to join the company in a key leadership role. They must be hands-on, capable, dynamic, and committed to leading an established sales team to higher achievement, and transforming the culture to be more energetic, competitive and opportunistic.

The company is looking for a Sales Manager who will take advantage of sales opportunities as new technologies are widely adopted by customers. The candidate must have high self-expectations and possess an entrepreneurial work ethic. Success in this role will be determined by results.

Qualifications:

  1. The Candidate will have worked in a Sales Manager role in this business segment.
  2. The Candidate will have a verifiable track record of personally managing, motivating and coaching a sales team, to deliver consistent industry-leading sales growth over a number of years.
  3. The Candidate will have the proven sales management capabilities, entrepreneurial spirit, work ethic, drive and service orientation to transform the Client’s current team into a more competitive and energized sales force.
  4. The Candidate will have knowledge of, and experience with, the technologies, products, solutions and services offered by the Client.
  5. The Candidate will have participated in scoping solutions, pricing and profitability analysis, writing proposals, sales presentations, RFP submissions, and closing sales.

Compensation: 80K to 100K base salary plus approx. 100K bonus (on reaching target)
